Top 10 Best Cars under 5k

In this day and age, if you are a first time driver, 5k is about all you have to spend on a car, and this car needs to last you though high school, and hopeful onto collage. And it seems like its an easy job to do, with great local sites like Craigslist, and eBay, you can find your fist car right in your back yard. But there are lemons out there, and some cars might seem, a little too good to be true, so most likely they probably are, so you need to know what cars are out there that will last you another 50k miles, without the car needing any major expensive repairs. (Note: all of these cars are the 1990's models, excluding the Jetta which is the 04)

Nissan 240sx Hatchback
First of all this is a Nissan, and from personal experience, Nissan's will go forever, the engines are the best in the market, and the parts are extremely inexpensive. From a high school perspective, this is not a bad car, and the looks wont be shattering any mirrors any time soon. Also, the Nissan 240 has a array of modifications to add to it, some strange but helpful items include, a large cold air intake, this adds about 10-15hp but it also improves your cars MPG by four to five miles to the gallon! Over a years time that intake will save you $4,380 on your gas! So it is important for you to find out what cars will allow for you to upgrade simple engine components. So the Nissan 240sx is an inexpensive car to buy, not to mention a fun car to drive, so when you consider your first car, the Nissan 240sx is a great car.

Crown Vic Police Interceptor
You may be wondering why a Police car, that has probably pulled you over before would be a great first car. Well for a start, all police cars are upgraded from the counterparts, to begin with the Police package adds a larger radiator, and so if you have to drive under harsh conditions, your cars cooling system will just fine. They also added a buffed up suspension for tight turns, and sharp handling, this means that on the road in an emergency, you can turn sharply to avoid the accident, and if you need to stop on a dime, this car as upgraded brakes to. The list goes on, and on, so in a long story short, any police car would make a great choice in anytime of your life.

Audi A4
The Audi A4 has always been a great car for fist time driver, easy to drive, good on gas, and decent looks attracted car buyers from all ages, so its not going to be a hard task to find one. Audi's have always been reliable, so when you buy this car you know that its going to last you quite a bit of miles, and if you find a low mileage, and well taken care of, it might last you long after you left high school. With sharp handling, good looks, easy to maintain, and room to take all your friends out, it a great option.

Saab 900
As it may be hard to believe, but this car was sold as a compact luxury car, and it shows, leather is available on most models, and there a good looking bunch of cars. The interior is designed around the cockpit style, so all of the buttons are very easy to reach, and the gauges have an awesome looking green grow to them. Though this is not a bad car, Turbo models have lots of problems, so try and stay with the base 900 models for extra reliability. Another thing to look out for is very high millage models; try to stay within the 100,000 mile range for a car that wont need an excessive amount of repairs.

Volkswagen Jetta GLS
This may be one of the best cars on the list, they are super reliable cars, and they are super inexpensive cars to buy, some 2004 models sell for right at 5k, so its a fitting car in this article, and if you dish out an extra thousand dollars, you can get a low millage, and well taken care of car that will last you years to come. Jetta are good looking cars to, and just like the 200sx, there are a large amounts of modifications, that you can add to this car, some cool aftermarket parts car make this relatively boring car into a car that looks like it belongs on the cover of Super Street".

BMW 3-Series 328si
Yep, what once was a $40,000 luxury car, is now a car that you can find at under 5k, and the higher the base price the car once was, the better off the car is going to be now, and the car hasnt aged to badly, it still looks like a no-nonsense BMW, and the golden leather interior still looks as good as it did 15 years ago. but the best thing about buying a BMW is knowing that this car was designed for an upper-class person, so the engine needs to be the best of the best, the suspension must be comfortable to ride at long periods of time, the nose at highway speeds must be quite, and most important, it needs to look like a professional business car, and it is.

Jaguar XJS
Thought you were surprised about the 3-Series being on the list, well this V12 Monster made it to, but before you start judging the British reliability, you can find models of the XJS that have been kept in good condition, with low miles are not bad cars. If you car a car nut, and you only have five grand to spend on a car, this might be the best choice for you. With aggressive styling, and a mean sounding V12 piping out of the rear, its the fastest, and best looking car hear. Maintenance it a big thing when you buy this car, look for wheel kept models, so when you check out a car, look at the paint, and under the wheel wells to check for rust, the less rust, the better kept the car was. All in all, if you can find a well preserved model of a XJS, theres no better car.

Mercedes Benz S-Class
The top of the S-Class found its way into the Best Cars Under 5k list, and for a good reason to, back in the 90's, this was the car to have if you where a successful business man, but now, its available to the guy that flips patties at Burger King, with the price floating around 5k right now, its the perfect car for the average teenager, who doesnt want to flip patties. all models come in leather, and a leather wrapped steering wheel, power seats, and all of the finer things that made a car in the 90's, a car that you couldnt afford.

Ford F-150
No surprises here, the F-150 has always been a favorite to the younger crowd, tons of space to put your things, and they are built like a brick. Some models have over 300,000 miles, and they go for another 100,000 miles, thats how tough these cars are. If you tend to fix your own car, this is defiantly a car for you, the F-150 engine is easy to get to, and all parts are designed to easily be replaced if one were to break. While this car does not have the leather seats of the S-Class, and the V12 speed on the XJS, it has unmatched reliability, and if you need to tow something from time to time, look no further that the F-150

Camaro Z28
For the kid that has to have the classic muscle car, look for the Z28's, they are great cars to own and drive, with lots of power, and looks that come straight from the 70's, the Camaro is the one and only (Mustangs in the area are around the same price, Im just not a fan of the 4th generation Mustang) although when you buy this car you might have to do some work on it, its well worth it, and parts for this car are dirt cheap, if you gotta have speed, and classic looks, the Camaro is for you.

Honda Urban SUV Concept

Honda has previewed plans for a new Jazz-based SUV with this Urban SUV Concept at the Detroit motor show.

Honda has already confirmed a production version, which closely follows the sleek style of this concept. It will be introduced in Japan late this year, the US in early 2014 and Europe later in 2014.
Underpinning the 4300mm-long Urban SUV Concept is the next-generation Jazz's platform. A third generation of the standard Honda Jazz hatchback will be launched in 2014 with the new underpinnings. A saloon is also planned based on this platform and will be targeted at emerging markets.

Each of Honda's global regions is being given autonomy to tune it to suit local conditions. Both the exterior and interior styling are also likely to differ slightly between global markets.

Honda CEO Takanobu Ito has previously described the global small car platform as strategically very important to Honda's bid to boost sales from about four million units to seven million annually by 2017. He called the Jazz SUV a younger brother to the new CR-V.

Top 10 Fastest cars under 25k

So we all know the economy the down right now, OK that's a understatement, its horrible, and it seems like everything you buy is more expensive now than it was five years ago. But that doesn't have to be the same with your car, the used car market is bigger than ever, and with easy to use sites like Craigslist, its easy to make your next car purchase from the comfort of your living room. but you want more than a car that will get you from point a to point b, you want a car that will get you from point to point fast, and in style, you buying used is the best way to go.

2011 Mustang GT
For 2011 Ford upgraded the GT engine in its Ford Mustang to produce 112 more horsepower than the last model, it also gets a aggressive looking front grill, and LED taillights. But even after all of these improvements its still considered a 5th generation Mustang, so the prices on these cars are just starting to dip under 25k, and you can even find some models selling for even less. The 2011 Mustang launches itself from 0-60 in around 4.5 seconds, which is crazy fast for 25k, its actually one of the fastest cars on the list, and some might even say the best looking.

2011 Nissan 370Z
The 370Z is one of the best cars you can buy right now for the money, very reliable cars, and all 370Zs come with a sport tuned suspension, so going into the mountain roads will always be a joy to ride, and Rev Mach system that makes sure that every down shift is seamless, and as quick as possible. For a V6 engine the car has an impressive 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds, and thats plenty of power for you to play within the twisty back roads.

2013 Mazda Speed3
although the Speed3 is not the fastest car on the list, its the only new car you can buy straight off the factory line for less than 25k, and older models are inexpensive to, with the 2008 model running just round 19k, which leaves plenty of money left over to spend some money on the large amounts of aftermarket parts that are available for this car. The base Speed3 comes with a 263hp 6speed manual transmission, which has been easily bumped up to 300hp. all in all, if you want a hot hatch that you can drive to work every day, and pick up the kids from school, with 263hp at your disposable, this is the car for you.

2006 Cadillac CTS-V
Its amazing that only six years ago, this was a $60,000 car, and now, you can get your hands on a 400hp Corvette powered engine for less than 25k, not to mention this is a luxury sedan that you can drive to work, put the kids in the back seats that are actually useable (unlike the coupe) and your wife wont know that it does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds and tops 109mph in the quarter mile. this was, and still is, the fastest production sedan you can buy on the market, yes, that includes the M5, the Audi S4, and the Mercedes AMG, impressive, for a car that the average man can buy.

2008 Mitsubishi Evolution
Or, better known as the Evo, is a car that wants you to drive it. It carries a 4-cylender turbo charged engine that produces a very surprising 291hp! And its still a 4 banger! This is a true rally car, small engine, big power, and most important, it needs to be able to take the corners at full force, and this car does just that, with anti-roll bars, and stability bars standard, and a true rally tuned suspension, this car was meant to be driven on the back roads.

2011 Mini John Cooper Works
This car has two of the best things in the automotive world, German built quality, which means this car will drive till the world ends, and you can have pride in doing so with the British looks and engineering, without a doubt, this is the best car you can buy, if you live in the back roads of Virgina, with 207 horse power at its disposable, and a car that weighs just a little over a ton, and you have a car that cannot be matched in the corners. You can go out today and buy a used version of this car for about, 23k which some people would say that this car is worth twice that amount. Light car, powerful engine, and you get a  @#!*%  of a car.

2005 Corvette Coupe
Yes, I know you can now buy a Corvette for fewer than 25k; its as surprising to me as it is to you. While this is still the same 400hp engine in the CTS-V, this is a true sports car, you lose two doors, and back seats when you opt for the Corvette, but that 400hp has a lot less weight to haul around, and it shows, with a greatly improved 0-60 time of 4.1 seconds! and the best thing is, the new C7 Corvette is being released at the North American Auto Show this year, so if you wait a bit, expect these to drop in price by about 2-3k.

2004 BMW M3 Cope
Dont get me wrong, all of these cars on this list our great, but when it comes to choosing the best, this is the car. This is the sexiest looking car you can buy, and I still think that this was the best M3 that was ever created, its fast, very good looking, luxuries, and downright fun car to drive. Although this is a list about cars that are under 25k, its easy to find good versions of this car for 18k on the market. I believe that this was the best car you could have bought in 2004, and I still think its the best car you can buy in 2012.

Dodge Ram STR-10
Yep, a truck made it onto the Top 10 Fastest Cars Under 25k list, and it has a right to be on hear with the most powerful engine by far, with the 8.3lt engine that was shared with the Viper. It produces a jaw dropping 0-60 time of 4.7 seconds! And this truck weighs more than 2 tons! This car is pure bragging rights; it has 500hp, which makes it the most powerful car on the list! But this is actually a car you can drive every day with a 4-door cab available that is if you dont mind getting a 10mpg around town.

2006 Pontiac GTO
While Pontiac may be dead, its GTO isnt, with the same engine as the Corvette, making 400hp, launches this car to 60, in under 4.5 seconds. Not to mention that this is a great looking car and its at a reasonable price. This car shares the same platform as the CTS, but it is slightly less expensive due to the upscale the Cadillac brand has. 400hp never sounded so good, but be warned, under the power, there is a economy car suspension waiting to spin you out in the middle of a corner.

Toyota Corolla Furia Concept

Toyota has revealed its Toyota Corolla Furia concept car at the Detroit motor show, the firm's first clues as to the future direction of its best-selling saloon.

The Furia is the latest in a string of recent concepts from Toyota with bolder and more distinctive designs, following a personal plea from company chief Akio Toyoda for the firm to become more daring and break free of its conservative image and appeal to younger buyers.
The concept is 4620mm long, 1805mm wide and 1425mm high, with a wheelbase of 2700mm giving it relatively short overhangs. The concept is boldest at its front, with the design a much more striking interpretation of the look found on the new European-market Auris.
A sharply raked windscreen and low roofline ensure a lower, sleeker profile than that of Toyot's current Corolla. A usual array of more outlandish concept features make it onto the Furia, including 19in alloys, lashings of carbonfibre trim and a large rear diffuser with integrated exhausts.
The Corolla Furia Concept is an early indicator of where our compact car design may lead in the future, said Toyota vice president Bill Fay at the concept's unveiling in Detroit. He hoped the design would surprise a lot of people".

Best first cars

Back in the day it seemed like having a set of wheels made someone happy, but now it almost seems like the car you drive is just as important as the clothes you wear. So teenagers stress more than ever on what car theyre going to pull up in at the high school parking lot; however, parents have the real say in what they drive. Youre more likely to wreck in your first year of driving than any other year in your life, so safety is number one on the parents list of cars to drive. Are there cars out there that are fun to drive, have great styling, and most important, are safe.

Before you read this list, you need to find out what you want most in the car youre going to buy. Are you interested more in the safety, power, space and price? Or do you just want to find an all around great car for you to drive in your early driving years?

 - Ford Focus- The Ford Focus had been around for almost 10 years. Bursting onto the scene in America in the summer of 1999-2000, it was a refreshingly different car in the small-car segment, and had decent styling, later in its early model years, they also added a 3-door hatchback, 4-door sedan, and a 5-door wagon, with this said, its easy to find a reliable 3-doorhatchback for under 5k. These are great cars, built like nails, and have tons of options to choose from. The Ford Focus has everything from a large wagon, to a 300 Horsepower Ford Focus RS. Along with fantastic handling and modern style, whats not to love about the Focus?

Used price range - $3,000 - $10,000
Insurance rating- 9/10
Teen Car Guy Rating- 7 /10

 - Volvo S60- The Volvo S60 came into 2001 model year, a dive into known territory for the Swedish car maker. Its main competitors are the BMW 3 Series, and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, buying a car from Volvo means that safety comes first, after all, they where the car maker to first offer seat-belts as standard equipment. All models of the S60 come with side-curtain air bags, and ani-wiplash headrests, new models include driver knee air bags, blind spot assist, adaptive cruise control, and a new feature even stops the car if an object moves in front of the car. there is simply no safer car maker on the market that offers all of this, at a extremely low price.

Used price range- $3,500 - 12,000
Insurance rating- 8/10
Teen Car Guy Rating-  7.5/ 10
 - Ford Mustang (5th Gen)- After Ford released the concept for the 2005 model year at the North American International Auto Show, it showed a huge amounts of die-hard mustang fans that loved the new retro looking style. New for the 2005-2009 model years where 4.0 L, 4.6 L, and a top of the line 5.4 L engines, that produce more than enough power for a first time driver (I recommend the base 6 cylinder). This is a great looking car, and I dont know any 16 year old boy who doesnt want a Mustang, and who wouldnt, with 300hp models, which are selling for less than 10k, its great on a budget too. If you want a great looking car, with decent power, the 5th generation Mustang is for you.

Used price range- $6,000 - $15,000
Insurance rating- 5/10 (GT model)
Teen Car Guy Rating- 8/10

 - Nissan Frontier- When the Nissan Frontier was introduced to America in 1997 it was a fairy good mid-size pickup truck that offered decent towing, space, and value. Nissans new truck got a face lift in 2001, that greatly improved the style of the truck from a bland, boring truck, to a appealing truck for the younger buyer, and nearly 10 years later, it still is a very appealing truck for the younger buyer, you can find a fully loaded one for less than 5 grand. and these things are bullet proof, so you can buy this thing and forget about buying anything important on the car for another 100,000 miles.

Used price range- $3,000 - 6,500
Insurance rating- 8.5/10
Teen Car Guy Rating- 6.5/10

- Honda Civic- The Honda Civic has always been a very popular car for younger people, and every year Honda makes the Civic more and more appealing to the younger buyer, with the Civic Si version always available to the more outgoing person, which gives you more power, more aggressive style, and some cool options inside the car, like leather racing seats. but the Civic is also very popular with younger people because there are a large amount of options to buy and with so many things available your bound to find a Civic that fits your taste.

Used price range- $2,000- $9,000
Insurance rating- 9/10
Teen Car Rating- 10/10

- MINI Cooper- The Mini was first introduced into the states in 2000, and with peppy British style that you just have to love at any age. the Mini offers handling that cant be matched by anything in its price range, I cant imagine a car that is any more fun to drive than this car, its a absolute blast to drive in the mountains, and there are so many ways to customize your Mini, everything from roof graphics, to a lager turbo charger. this is the one of the best first cars you can buy, with great handling that keeps the car plated on the road, stunning style, and downright fun car to drive.

Used price range- $5,000-$17,000
Insurance rating- 7/10
Teen Car Guy Rating- 10/10

2011 Dodge Charger Review

The new Dodge Charger is redesigned from the ground up, with more aggressive styling that has direct links to the original 1st Gen Dodge Charger. New for 2011 is a brand new interior that is the best I have ever seen in this price range, With this being the only rear-wheel drive car in its class, is it good enough to keep the powerful rear-wheel drive large sedans in productions like the 300, or is it going to let the smaller, front wheel drive cars take over?

Starting with the exterior, new aggressive front grill, with a attitude that almost screams "Get out my way" The back of the car has been redesigned with a taillight the stretches across the entire back side of the car, and these LED lights give the car a iconic look that echos 70's car design. The side of the car gets an air vent stamp that adds to that retro look. A new option available this year is the "Black Out" which gives you a blacked out grill, 20in black wheels, black spoiler that sits on the back of the car, and the best leather seats out of any American car maker I have ever tested. In my option, this is the best looking car you can buy for less than 30k.

Once you step inside the interior it only gets better for the 2011 Dodge Charger, with soft touch leather. When you get to the dashboard, the center piece is real aluminum, not plastic. If you opt for the Rally plus package, you get an upgraded Audio system, with a big color touch screen display, you also get some more upgrades in the package like, heated and cooled cup holders, which work surprisingly well. New advanced safety features include driver knee air bag, you can also order your 2011 Dodge Charger with Adaptive Cruise Control, with forward collision warning system, and blind spot waning alert system.

Our Dodger Charger that we tested came in a Penstar V6 that produces a class leading 292 Horsepower and 260 Lb. Feet of Torque. Which would make this a fast car if the gearing on the 8-speed transmission wasnt so bad, forget about accelerating in the freakishly long 1st gear, the engine feels asleep in anything below 2,000 RPM and once you get to 5,000 RPM the automatic transmission shifts, which would not be a problem if the push-to-shift system works, but it takes so long for the car to change gears that its not even worth trying. But what dose these long gears, low RPMs, and slow shifts mean? it means 19 city, and 33 Highway  (My own personal driving) and around the normal day I averaged 26.4 MPG, which is great in this day and age where a gallon of gas costs you $3.50. As they always say You win some you lose some"

For a car that weighs almost 4,000lbs its not that bad in the corners, but dont get me wrong, its not a car you take into the mountains for fun. While you get a soft suspension, which is great for around town, and every day driving, but when you become a weekend warrior, the car rolls severely in the turns, the leather racing seats do keep you from flying out of the cabin, but thats about it. When you add a super soft suspension, and a car that weighs more than two tons, its not a nice combination.

All in all this is a car in its own class, and if you want something that has good looks, and wont give you a kick in pants at the pump, this is the car for you.

2012 BMW 3 Series Review

The new BMW 3 Series has a much more aggressive style around the body than the previous version it replaces. With more "serious" looking headlights, new and improved engine options, and better handling this is not a car to be reckoned with, but is it enough? With the BMW 3 Series accounting for %25 of US sales last year, and stiff new competition, like the new Cadillac ATS, and the Audi A6, its more important than ever to make this the best 3 Series yet.

The new BWM 3 Series now comes in two different engine options, a 240 horsepower 255 Pound - feet of torque 4 cylinder, and a straight 6, which produces 300 Horsepower and 300 Pound - feet of torque launching it from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds, which is not bad, but its only .4 seconds faster that the 4 banger.
The inside of the car been resigned like the outside, but unlike the outside, there is not much to say, you can order different packages, the one I tested came in the Modern style that includes real wood, fancy dials, and brushed steel on the dashboard, as all BMW interiors are no-nonsense and everything has its purpose, which makes the interior very simple to use, but very boring to look at. But there are some not-so-boring things in the interior, like the much improved iDrive, where you can make Calls, view vehicle settings, and check up on your cars maintenance.

The new 3 Series also has a new feature that might save you some gas around town, when you come to a complete stop, the engine shuts off, saving gas every time you come to a red light, giving it 23/33 mpg (automatic), but that is on premium gas, but none the less those are impressive numbers. Eco Pro is also a helpful feature in the new BMW 3 Series that tells you how you are driving and gives helpful tips like "Accelerate moderately" that save you gas when you're not trying to drive like a manic, which you will find yourself doing more often with the new and improved steering response, which makes you feel more connected than ever before, and I have never been in a car like this that makes it so easy to drive fast, you always know where the car is going to enter the corner, and leave the corner. but with this said its not really a fun car to drive, with every motion feeling almost effortless, and less road feel than the outgoing model do little to help this problem.
The no- nonsense BMW interior

With all of this said its a very solid car in the mid-car segment, with great handling and a solid all around performance, its a car that car makers need to take notes on, but some brands have all ready caught on to the 3 Series, and other options are now rising and more than ever there coming closer and closer to taking the BMW 3 Series from its Mid-Segment car king.

Mustang GT 2013 Review

The newest Mustang, in GT form, makes 420 horsepower, and is good for 390 pound-feet of torque, and starting at only $31,000 its a steal.

But lets start with the new things on the 2013 Mustang.
First off the tail lights now have a "smoked" look to them, and the turn signals are in sequential function, some people dislike the idea, but honesty in person it looks fantastic. Inside the car you can now order Recaro racing seats, a $1600 option, and no power adjustment, but hey, who buys Recaro seats for comfort? The new Mustang also has a new option called Track Apps, it is located in between the tachometer and the speedometer, you can track the acceleration, braking, and even G-forces that are being applied to your car in corners, other things you can check on include, cylinder head temp, intake temp, and oil temp.
More new goodies on the GT are the new Gotta Have It Green paint scheme, which looks stunning and is a real head turner. You also may notice the new HID headlights on the car, which offer great visibly at night and look great in the day. more options include a new hood which has functional vents that cool the monster V8. The front grill has also been resigned, with a more aggressive look than before, the new Mustangs also come with a new air-splitter which increases corner capabilities, and of course looks.

The new Mustang includes a 6-speed auto transition that uses a push-to-shift control which is located on the side of the shifter, which is sadly, horrid, the shifts feel slushy and slow, and down shifts feel very unresponsive, but why would you buy a 420 horse power beast and buy a automatic? go ahead and buy the manual version, which shifts as good as you do. On the positive note the car handles much better than the car it replaces, which is partly because of the new Electric Power Assist system available on the 2013 model of the Mustang, even more nerdy assists include the Hill Assist control, which applies the brakes for two seconds on steep hills, making it much less complicated pulling away from hills.

All in all this is a great car, with loads of options to choose from, the possibilities are endless. It combines comfort, with power, and practicality, with every day fun. With the new touches that make a great car even better, theres no reason not to love a 2013 Mustang GT.

2013 Mustang in Gotta Have It Green

Fastest used cars under 10k

Times are tough and new cars are not cheap, so thats why millions of people have turned to buying their cars used, after all your car loses nearly 20% of its value when you drive it off the lot. When buying used you can buy a car and resell it at nearly the same price you bought it for.
But some people want a car thats going to give them a kick in the pants, not make them fall asleep, so here are the Top 5 fastest used cars under 10k.

5. 1998-2006 VW GTI

The classic golf GTI came in a few engine options, a 4 cylinder 175hp, and a 200hp V6, both are very fun cars to drive, but where these cars lack in power they gain in awesome handing, and unsurpassed driving fun. If you're looking for a car that has the most smiles per miles, this is the car to get. And with cheap maintenance and easy to fix engine whats not to love?

Pros- Cheep insurance, cheaper maintenance, fun car to drive and own
Cons- Hipster looks, 4 banger is underpowered in todays standards

4. Z32 Nissan 300ZX

??

This twin turbo powered 300ZX was a beast, making just about 300hp in 1990, which by today standards is still very impressive. Often called the the poor mans Porsche" and for a good reason to, this car launched from 0-60 in less than 5.5 seconds! (Thats the same 0-60 the 2013 Boxster has) with great handling that you can throw into any corner that any speed, and a shape that has aged well, makes this a fantastic car to buy.

Pros- Crazy fast, crazy fun, crazy cheep
Cons- insurance for a 17 year old kid would be outrages

3. Third Generation Mazda RX7

This has to be the best looking car you can buy for fewer than 10k or 20k for that matter, the style was way ahead of its time and competed with cars that costs nearly twice the price. it carries a twin turbo that ranges from 255hp to 300hp depending on the model you buy. but the best thing about these cars is that the turbo in the car are so easy to modify that some on the road today can push anything from 400hp to almost 700hp. the only problem with the car is that they are a hard bunch to find, with an already low number of them sold in the United States, they are not easy to find, but they have the largest reward factor.

Pros- Just look at it!!!
Cons- Very hard to find, some people reported problems burning oil?

2. Porsche 944 Tubro

??The Porsche 944 is most likely the best handling car on this list; it was after all named the best handling car of the year in 1989. it rockets from 0-60 in just 5.8 seconds, but thats not what this car is famous for, its famous for its legendary handling, its so good in fact that this is the car of choice for track days around the world, with so many of these cars on the market pushing 300-350hp  its not hard to see why around the world this is the car of choice for track day drivers, but when you have to drive it home at the end of the day you're in a beautiful leather wrapped cabin, see after all it is a Porsche.

Pros- Great exterior, beautiful interior, rich person look
Cons- ride is rough, and Turbo lag

1. BMW 850csi

The best car you can buy right now, for the money is the BMW 850csi. Its by far the most powerful one of the bunch supporting a monster, autobahn worthy V12 engine, launching it from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds, thats the same as the 300Z, but this car accelerates when you want it to, passing time for this car is a mere 2 seconds! And this car sounds like a genuine German super car. But at the end of the day, you are driving what once was an $80,000 super car that competed with only the best of the best. With the fire breathing V12, downright sexy exterior, and BMW style interior, this car wins the 1# spot on my list.

Pros- bragging rights to your friends that you own a V12 super car, and of course, pop up headlights!
Cons- V12 Power, means V12 gas

Audi RS7

Audi is set to take the fight to the recently unveiled BMW M6 GranCoup with a new 552bhp twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8-powered RS7 Sportback.

Pictured here officially for the first time following its unveiling at the Detroit motor show today, the rapid liftback extends Audi's RS line-up to six models.

Power for the RS7 Sportback comes from the same 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine used by the recently unveiled third-generation RS6 Avant. It produces 552bhp at 5700rpm and 76.45kgm of torque between 1750rpm and 5500rpm - some 138bhp and 20.46kgm more than the less highly tuned version of the same V8 in the S7 Sportback.

The new M6 GranCoup's twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8 produces the same 552bhp. However, it offers 7.18kgm less.

Because Audi's seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox is unable to handle the heady torque loading of the engine, the RS7 Sportback receives a standard eight-speed automatic box. It operates in combination with the latest evolution of the Audi's Quattro four-wheel drive system, offering the choice between D (drive), S (sport) and M (manual) modes.

Audi is yet to confirm a kerb weight for its latest RS model but claims it delivers 0-100kph in 3.9sec and a top speed limited to 250kph. Buyers can raise the top speed to 280kph with an optional Dynamic package and to 305kph with a Dynamic Plus package.

Underpinning the RS7 Sportback is a heavily reworked version of the standard A7 Sportback's chassis that features widened tracks and air suspension. Audi will also offer its new performance model with an optional steel-sprung suspension in combination with Dynamic Ride Control as part of a package known as Sport Suspension Plus a move that is reflected on the new RS6 Avant.

Jaguar XKR-S GT

Jaguar is commemorating 25 years of its R performance brand with the most focused road-going version of its XK ever.
The XKR-S GT, which joins the new XJR at the New York motor show, is a track-ready version of the XKR-S that remains road legal.
Power comes from a 542bhp supercharged 5.0-litre V8 that sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed auto gearbox. The GT is good for a 0-100kph time of 3.9sec, some 0.3sec quicker than the standard XKR. Although Jaguar says the car is theoretically capable of 320kph, it is limited to 300kph.
The GT features a bespoke aerodynamic package that includes a carbonfibre front splitter, dive planes, extended wheel arch spats, a rear diffuser and a large fixed rear wing. Maximum downforce of 145kg is said to be achieved.
Carbon ceramic brake discs are fitted, a first for Jaguar. New front and rear suspension systems also feature, including a wider front track, increased camber, revised bushings and a new steering system with a faster ratio. Bespoke, height-adjustable dampers are another addition that features a race-derived twin spring system.
Completing the transformation are special lightweight 20in alloys shod in 255/35 Pirelli Corsa rubber at the front and 305/30 tyres at the rear.
Just 30 examples will be made 25 for the US and five for Canada. However, Jaguar says it will consider right-hand drive models for the UK and other markets if demand is sufficient.
