will be mated to a higher-performance version of the 7-speed twin-clutch gearbox. The Italian manufacturer will replace the current 4.3 liter V8 engine (of the F430 model) with a larger 4.5 liter V8. This is what will drive the name change from F430 to F450. The larger engine is expected to have a minimum of 500 horsepower. The Italian sports and racing car manufacturer is planning on increasing the fuel efficiency and lowering the carbon emissions of the new model.
The new Ferrari F450 is expected to unveil at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September and planning to go on sale in the US in the middle of 2010. The F450 will be the replacement for the F430. So much excitement! But now reports coming out of Maranello suggest that the cars unveiling is pushed back until December, in Los Angeles Autoshow
